Black Hawk is the largest casino town in Colorado. It is home to the state’s biggest gaming resorts, including Ameristar, Bally’s Black Hawk, Horseshoe Casino, and Monarch Casino.

Ameristar Casino Black Hawk
Multiple dining options are available. Most are accessible from the casino floor and are restricted to guests 21 years of age or older. The hotel has 536 non-smoking rooms, including 64 suites featuring either a single king or two queen beds. A pool and spa are available at the hotel.
Bally’s Black Hawk casinos
Bally’s Black Hawk consists of Bally’s Black Hawk North, Bally’s Black Hawk West, and Bally’s Black Hawk East. Bally’s North and Bally’s West connect through an enclosed walkway over Main Street. All three casinos have slot and video poker machines. Bally’s East only has slots. The two have live table games.
Bally’s North has eight table games. Bally’s West has seven. Both offer craps. A full-service Bally’s betting counter and DraftKings sportsbook are located at Bally’s North, and there is a poker room at Bally’s West. The three properties share five dining options, which are restricted to guests 21 years of age or older. No hotel is associated with Bally’s Black Hawk.
Bull Durham Saloon & Casino
Named for the ment on the front of its historic building, Bull Durham Saloon & Casino has almost 200 slot and video poker machines. A snack bar is available with a daily comp special for Sharp Shooter card . No hotel is associated with Bull Durham Saloon & Casino.
Bull Durham Casino is open 8am until 2am Sunday through Thursday and 8am until 4am Friday and Saturday.
Gilpin Casino
Gilpin has slot and video poker machines. The restaurant is restricted to guests 21 years of age or older. Located across Main Street with the same ownership, The Lodge Casino shares the Winners Club players card program with Gilpin. Hotel rooms are available at The Lodge Casino.
Horseshoe Casino Black Hawk
An enclosed walkway over Main Street connects Horseshoe Casino with the related Lady Luck Casino. The four dining establishments are located outside of the age-restricted areas, and minors are welcome to dine. There are 240 non-smoking rooms in the attached hotel that feature a single king or two queen beds. Junior Suites provide additional square footage.
Lady Luck Black Hawk
Lady Luck has around 400 slot and video poker machines. Table games are no longer dealt. An enclosed walkway over Main Street connects Lady Luck Casino with the related Horseshoe Casino. The restaurant is limited to guests 21 years of age and older, with non-gambling amenity options available to minors at the connected Horseshoe Casino. The hotel has 164 non-smoking rooms featuring a single king or two queen beds.
Lodge Casino Black Hawk
The Pai Gow Poker. All three dining options and the hotel are restricted to guests 21 years of age or older. Hotel rooms are located on the third floor and have mountain views.
Monarch Casino
The Monarch Casino has a sportsbook, 42 table games, and around 1,000 slot and video poker machines. The table-games pit offers blackjack, roulette, craps, Deuces Wild Extreme, pai gow poker, and Three Card Prime. Multiple restaurant options are available. The 23-floor hotel has 516 rooms available. Amenities include a pool and spa.
Red Dolly Casino
Red Dolly Casino calls itself “The Cheers of Casinos.” There are Elite Sportsbook kiosks for sports betting and around 100 slot and video poker machines. The casino is open daily from 8am until 2am. A restaurant on the second level serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is no hotel associated with Red Dolly Casino.
Saratoga Casino
Saratoga Casino has eight table games and around 400 slot and video poker machines. Table games include blackjack, craps, 00 roulette, and 3 Shot Poker. There is one restaurant open daily. It used to have a Betfred sportsbook with a live betting window and kiosks. However, it closed in 2024.
Sasquatch Casino
Sasquatch Casino has sports-betting kiosks and around 70 slot and video poker machines. The restaurant serves all-day breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Players can redeem points for two free meals daily. The casino is open daily from 8am until 2am. No hotel is associated with Sasquatch Casino.
Wild Card Saloon
Wild Card Saloon has sports-betting kiosks, over 200 slot and video poker machines, and a small convenience store. The restaurant is located on the third-floor balcony. Note that this casino calls itself a cigar bar, so it is exempt from the statewide smoke-free ban and permits smoking.
